1. Workshop and Discussion of Development of The Development of The Ram-Ton kantarachai dance, College of Music, Mahasarakham University
On June 29, 2019, Mahasarakham University Music College organized workshop and discussion of the development of the Ram-Ton Kantharawichai dance at Kantharawichai Kindergarten, Kantharawichai district, Mahasarakham province. It's a favorite because it's an activity that's suitable for the elderly. It helps to improve the health of the dance process that is similar to exercise, and also promotes meditation on remembering. The lyrics have short, compact lyrics to the ears and are content with community history in Kantharawichai district.
The project period from June 29, 2019 to July 5, 2019, with approximately 91 participants and interested persons, divided into 3 groups: 1) 7 operators; 2) Participants in the master community group of 10 villages at Kantharawichai District, 60 people and 20 master community groups and 3) Lecturers, 4 speakers.
The results are that 1) The project has been passed on to the community in Kantharawichai district by representing at least one community of 10 villages, promoting local knowledge and culture, and nurturing local arts and culture traditions. 2) To create academic value for the community or society, it can be used to further the work of arts and culture, promote and create academic value. To disseminate and become a source of wisdom as a source for the community to study arts and culture for the community in the future.

2. A project to convey knowledge about long drum patterns (Klong-Yao) and the criteria for judging in the contests held by The College of Music, Mahasarakham University
College of Music, Mahasarakham University held the project to convey knowledge of the long drum (Klong-Yao) show style and the criteria for judging in the contests at Ban Wai Community, Wai Sub-district, Wapi Pathum District, Maha Sarakham Province. It is to convey knowledge of long drum patterns and folk performance art to the community, as well as enable the community to develop long drum bands and create value for the community. The community can be self-reliant and have a long drum band in the community.
Support good activities for people in the community to participate in arts and culture. The unity of children, youth and adults wishes to participate in the activities of the form and development of the long drum band. To be able to use knowledge as a profession, the community has a source of knowledge and conservation for the style and development of its own long drum band, folk art and culture. It can be passed on to next generations to promote activities and harmony in the community as well.
The duration of the workshop on knowledge, pattern and development of the band performances is during 15 June 2019 – 7 July 2019. The participants are approximately 85 and interested persons were divided into 3 groups: 1) 10 operators, 2) 70 participants and 3) 5 speakers.
As a result of this project, the community has been restored and conveyed the knowledge of music and folk performance (long drums) and can bring knowledge to the development of long drum bands. The agency integrates the course together with the curriculum. Music & Folk Performance promote the community as a source of learning about the arts and culture of folk music in the future.

1. Researchers by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sayam Chuangprakhon held a research project under the name Isan Folk Long Drum making with wood soldering technique to replace the use of logs. This project under controlling by Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI). The RdG61H0018 contract was submitted for 10% of the cost of the institution to Mahasarakham University, Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, account no: 408-931691-9

2. Revenue from the distribution of books and innovation and creative work at the BBI Conference, the 3rd National Conference at Kalasin College of Dramatic Arts, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Kalasin Province in August 13-15, 2020. The College of Music is a Co-host with 8 staff and 35 students participated activity. Also more than 300 of participators from other institutions participated the exhibition of art and innovation. College of Music had received income from the book unit, which was produced by research. The income 2,950 Baht was transferred to SCB Bank Account Public Company Limited, Mahasarakham University (Depository), Account No. 408-931691-9
